At its facility in Lower St. Lawrence, Hybrix designs and manufactures storage containers for shipping bulk maple syrup. Hybrix has innovated by creating a revolutionary double-walled barrel developed by its team of experts. The S.P. barrel is the result of a patented process that combines a stainless-steel inner container with a plastic rotomolded outer container. It offers better resistance to shocks as well as greater durability than the barrels currently available on the market.
The SP Barrel
Stainless and plastic (34 imperial gallons)
The hybrid design of the S.P. Barrel, combining stainless steel and rotomolded plastic, makes it an innovative and unique product. This process offers better shock resistance and greater durability than the barrels currently on the market. The double wall also provides increased protection for the product in case of damage. An RFID chip and a QR code enabling traceability of the barrel have also been integrated to meet the specific needs of maple producers.

These food-grade plastic barrels offer better shock resistance and greater durability than the current barrels on the market. An RFID chip allowing barrel traceability has also been integrated to meet the specific needs of maple syrup producers.
